How It Works:

    Roll & Roam FAQs

    How does the booking process work?

    You can book online through our website or visit us in-store at 105 High Street, Honiton. We require a £25 refundable deposit which will be returned when you bring back the camera in good condition. We recommend booking in advance, especially for weekend rentals and during holiday periods.

    I've never used a film camera before. Is that okay?

    Absolutely! We'll provide basic instructions when you collect your camera, and our staff are happy to give you a quick tutorial. Film photography is part of the fun, and we're here to help you get started.

    What's included with my rental?

    On top of your camera choice, every rental includes a complimentary roll of Kodak Color Plus 24 exposure film (2 with the week rental) and a 10% discount on film processing when you return the camera.

    How do I get my photos developed after using the camera?

    Simply bring your camera back to us, and we can develop your film for you with a 10% discount on processing. This will be for digital photos only. Film processing typically takes 2-3 days, and the photos will be sent to the email address you provided on booking.

    What happens if I damage or lose the camera?

    If the camera is damaged or lost, your deposit will be retained, and additional charges may apply depending on the extent of damage or replacement cost. We recommend handling the camera with care and keeping it secure during your rental period.

    Can I rent a camera for longer than a week?

    We currently only offer weekend and weekly rentals. For longer periods, we'd actually recommend purchasing a camera outright. As our cameras range from £24-£30 to buy, it makes purchasing a camera more economical than extended rentals. If you're interested in buying after trying, we'd be happy to help you select the perfect camera for your needs
